A few weeks back we were approached to do a feature with John Lewis. The task at hand was pretty simple: to style an outfit and create a look using product from John Lewis.

Now, not every guy would normally think of John Lewis as the first stop-off point when looking for an outfit, but not only did the feature get me back into the styling game (well for one feature at least), it really did push John Lewis up my pecking order of places to shop for stylish menswear pieces.

I was allowed to pick whatever I wanted, however I honestly found myself drawn to their own brand collection. Maybe because it really reflected my personal taste – timeless, classic staples in great colours.

I wanted to keep the styling pretty simple and reflect how I dress normally, and based on the weather. So, I added a few layers and kept the colours within the autumn palate.

Finally, a big shout out to Jelani for the great photography!
