LC:M AW16: WHAT WENT DOWN

Hey all, i know this may seem a little late but better late than never with this post. As you may already know, another LC:M has just passed and with it came plenty of fresh menswear offerings from our favourite british brands. Our friends at Velsvoir brought the house down with a surprising change of venue at the Soho Lights shop opposed to their usual suave hotel scenes. The team at Tourne de Transmission decided to recycle the amazing set from the last show and create yet another great story of warriors this season. And many brands this year show that they’re fighting for survival and contributing to menswear with much more wearable pieces and narratives. I on the other hand have been more selective with what i wanted to see since everything was more spread out this season with the loss of the Hospital Club and Old Sorting Office that brought all the shows to an easily accessible area for the past 4-5 seasons. With such a change i thought it wise to take my time and also chill in a nice hotel suite courtesy of recently opened Amba hotel in Marble Arch; just a stones throw away from the new Topman Showspace at the Ambika P3 gallery in Marylebone like a boss.
