The Look – Week 60

Hey guys, happy new year to you all.

It feels like it’s been a while since I’ve put together one of my outfit combinations for all you lovely readers out there.

So we start the new year with our 60th look! An amazing achievement I must say. This week we begin with a work-wear style jacket layered up with a chunky knit, chinos, tapered fitting cargo style pants (within reason) and even denim if you dare.

A white or a pale blue shirt will work well underneath with possibly a vintage scarf to complete the look. Keeping it Krispy is the only way to start the year.

Hey peeps,

here it is the look week 55.

I have a casual cool outfit for ya’ll which contains a lovely Colour palette.

Colours such as Oxblood Red, Sand Colours, Maize Ebony Browns, Olive green and more.

A day to day out that shows a level of simplicity but lets each item speak.

I call it the sporty casual worker look, as it contains pieces that have been influenced by all three aspects.

Levis Vintage Clothing – Staff Talk

A few months back we shot a feature on one of our favourite stores in London. Newburgh St’s Levis Vintage Clothing store. The staff there were amazingly helpful, so much so that they even allowed us to film during store hours!

This was shot as a pilot for a regular video feature called Staff Talk. The idea of which see’s us interviewing staff of interesting menswear stores around the UK about both the store and the culture of the local area.

In this episode we sit down with Fabian Nordström. As I stated before it is a pilot so please leave your feedback. If you guys enjoy it we’ll then know to continue the series.

Everybody knows the saying “save the best for last”, and London Fashion Week certainly did. Wednesday September 21st, was the last day in week full of all the great (and not so great) things we can look forward to in 2012. So have a look at some the superbly dressed men I encountered during LFW’s Menswear Day.

Welcome to another week of the look.

This time I have given you a workwear meets lumberjack kinda vibe.

This outfits colour palete is made up of tones of browns, beiges, natural tans and blues. Finally a touch of red helps brighten up the palete.
