Enough tips, back to the fact at hand. Lol!

For this shoot we called upon our boys over at House of Billiam. We are HUGE fans of the boys and all they have done with the brand! They have really built something that speaks to the young style-conscious man, especially with the release of their brand new collection of suits. Once we had seen them it was naturally a no brainer as to what Labrinth would wear for this shoot! Not only does the design speak volumes in terms of the future of the men’s lounge suit, but it also pulls on our values regarding fit and quality. We teamed this bad boy suit with a pair of our favourite Gant shoes and this brown and orange (aka borange) shoe really set off the dulcet tones in the suit and was the bridge between the dark outfit and bright set props.

Overall we had a freakin blast on set as we always do with our Labrinth… and how selfish would we be to not share it with you guys?! Here’s a taster produced by the shoots photographer- Dexter Navy. Please, good sirs, enjoy!

ASOS. Now that’s an online store I haven’t visited in a good while. The first time I go back there and I find this. This simply is a beautiful jacket. Not too sure about model though.

A quality coat is something that every man should own. It’s a staple for every stylish guy’s wardrobe and essential, especially if you reside in a country like this, where the weather is as miserable as east London’s 25 bus route.

Once you have finally made the decision on investing in a winter coat, there are a million other things to consider. Should I go for a classic style, shall I keep it neutral, etc. As a rule of thumb, it’s always good to have a good mix of classic and statement pieces.

And although the rule books insist on keeping your outwear simple and classic, we thought we’d show you how to pull off a bit of both.

This exquisite specimen is B:Scott’s Fleece Double Snap Mock (‘Double Snap’ sounds like a cheap chocolate bar found at LiDL) Either way it holds just the right elements of both classic and statement. The timeless navy blue colorway strikes just the right tone for an Autumn/Winter outwear garment, while the unusual silhouette provides lashings of non-conservative stylio.

We don’t really do sportswear here at Individualism and to be honest, we’re not too sure why. Maybe it’s because it’s hardly the most elegant category in menswear or maybe it’s because wearing a hoody in East London doesn’t hold the most positive connotations. But like Will Smith’s lyrical masterpiece, we thought we’d switch it up.

This week’s ‘P.O.T.W’ comes from US brand Apolis Activism. The brand are famous for their red stitched cross which means:  ’The sign of relief and an icon for all global citizens committed to quality and change. Apolis Activism applies contemporary design, premium fabrics, and an opportunity to share the value of Trade.’

Their ideals are certainly apparent in this modish navy hooded pullover. Boasting a French twill contrast placket and pocket trim as well as natural Caruso buttons carved from Tagua Nuts (I know it sounds like some sort of India Jones relic), this piece is ticks all the right boxes.

If I’m being honest, I’m not a massive fan of having a brand plastered across my chest. It screams: “I have no style, so I’ll stick with the safety of a named brand.”

However, Franklin and Marshall seem to have found the right balance. The F&M logo doesn’t really detract from the style of the garment. The aubergine (sorry, but who the hell creates these colour names? I need to trademark ‘baby shit green’) and navy colour way is an interesting colour combo and one that works rather well.

The two slit pockets are perfect for holding your iPod, and the shawl collar gives it a modern feel. All in all, it’s a great piece to chuck over a T-shirt or shirt when you’re in a hurry to buy some milk in the morning.

The east end sounding website Coggles.com are shifting them for few bob.

Nowadays there’s a LOT of choice on the sneaker/trainer front. Those of you who are looking for something a little different and want to express their personal style through a unique brand, have a lot of options at your disposal. We covered this a while back with our Underrated Sneaker Brands post, so if you don’t know, get to know.

Remember, for every one good style that comes along, there are about 10 other not-so-great ones. But every once in a while, just when you thought you’d seen it all, a random designer comes along, slaps you in your face and screams: “Wake up! Take notice bitch!”

Neil Barrett slapped us so hard in the face that we had to go for counselling. The fusion of blue on black with a mix of materials makes this sneaker gritty enough for the road, yet regal enough for a King. Damn.

Head straight to Foward Forward with your debit card ready. If you’re overdrawn, don’t worry about it. Take a deep breath and do what you know is necessary.
