We were sold ever since we set foot in this store in Stockholm two years ago. It’s taken them a while but they’ve finally arrived. The great thing about the T-Shirt store is that they provide a platform from young illustrators and designers to showcase their work which in turn keeps the stock fresh and creative!

2. JOHNNY CUPCAKES - Chosen by Benjamin Jordon

We couldn’t make it to the grand opening of this respected brand and to be honest, seeing the footage online we probably made the right choice. To say it was chockablock would be an understatement. But the store’s layout is worth a visit alone, showcasing their Ts in bakery-style cabinets. A true rags to riches story – what’s not to love about this brand?

3. SUPER SUPERFICIAL

Pretty much directly opposite Johnny Cupcakes, Superficial has now got some stiff competition just off Carnaby Street. However their quirky illustrations offer something a little different the American style Ts offered across the street.

Their Twitter account has to be one of the best things about this brand; they’ve got a truly bizarre sense of humour and that’s exactly why we love them. Honest, fun and transparent – plus they make some pretty good T’s!

4. SPITALFIELDS/CAMDEN MARKET – Chosen by James Dang

The perfect spots if you want to pick up some really exclusive T-shirts. The markets are home to young artists displaying their work on the fashion canvas that is the humble  T-shirt. The quality of the T-shirts may not reflect the store brands but the uniqueness of them more than makes up for it.

5. BEYOND RETRO

Probably one of the best shops to pick up a great vintage T. If you ever happen to arrive early enough to see the deliveries it will take you right back to the moment of ‘how to make it in America’ when they discovered the hidden warehouse! The fit of the vintage pieces may not be the greatest but you can find some true gems in here!

Nowadays there’s a LOT of choice on the sneaker/trainer front. Those of you who are looking for something a little different and want to express their personal style through a unique brand, have a lot of options at your disposal. We covered this a while back with our Underrated Sneaker Brands post, so if you don’t know, get to know.

Remember, for every one good style that comes along, there are about 10 other not-so-great ones. But every once in a while, just when you thought you’d seen it all, a random designer comes along, slaps you in your face and screams: “Wake up! Take notice bitch!”

Neil Barrett slapped us so hard in the face that we had to go for counselling. The fusion of blue on black with a mix of materials makes this sneaker gritty enough for the road, yet regal enough for a King. Damn.

Head straight to Foward Forward with your debit card ready. If you’re overdrawn, don’t worry about it. Take a deep breath and do what you know is necessary.

11. Supra 

At the time of writing, I can safely say that Supra is no longer ‘underrated’, so this is a little bit of a cheat. But having said that, despite their global success, they still haven’t become a household name over these shores.

Their most iconic style is the Supra Vader (above left) a high top shoe with a large panel. The simple design enabled Supra to create many colourways and styles which have proven extremely popular over the last year.

Their new high top is fast becoming a much sought-after piece of footwear.

12. ALIFE

Alife is another brand based out of NYC. We rarely see them here in the UK but they really know how to create a great high top.

13. The Hundreds 

Not notoriously known for producing footwear, ‘The Hundreds’ still came out strong with their Spring/Summer 09 collection.

A great change from Vans, their styles are awash with vibrant colours, helping bring a little LA to the UK. Perfect for our small bursts of summer sun.

14. Gourmet 

Gourmet is a brand that takes is influences from Italian-American culture and mixing luxurious fabrics with sneakers is a risky business but these guys seem to effortlessly pull it off.

These are a mix between shoes/trainers with a fashionable twist, though however you want to label them, there’s no denying that these kicks will turn heads. Great for guys who want people to comment on their footwear and are looking for something a little different.

15. FEIT

It’s funny that no-one else thought of a name like this for a footwear brand. Fiet are one of those labels that I stumbled upon whilst browsing the internet and took to immediately.

They say ‘all products are made using Specialized FEIT Komponentry to ensure highest possible standards‘. Exactly. And that can only mean a good thing…right?

We’ll admit it. We did initially want to showcase a product that ties in with Valentine’s Day, but after searching around we couldn’t find anything that deserved your valuable attention. So instead, this week’s Product of the Week comes from one of the hottest brands in the sneaker/trainer community.

Supra have been creating quite a fuss among footwear enthusiasts for a while now and it’s all because of their signature design, the ‘Supra Skytop’.

But that has been mainly occurring over in the States. Not any longer baby!

For the first time, you can safely pick up a pair of Supras over on these shores without having to buy them on a dodgy website, fearing your money will actually be going to this guy.

‘Offspring’, the trusted UK Footwear retailer, will be stocking their first designs, beginning with what you see above.

Trust us when we say these are going to BLOW. We’ve been waiting patiently for these and they have finally arrived. Just be aware that if we find ourselves in contention with anybody to grab the last pair, we don’t mind taking a life or two (possibly three), anyway, we’ve asked for forgiveness prior.

I know we covered footwear a few week’s back but hey, people are producing more shoes than highly unique, cheap, uber-stylish accessories ok. So when we do come across one, you’ll be the first to know, but for now you’ll have to stick with footwear again.

These scrumdidiliumptious (Yes, I was brought up on Roald Dahl) pair of kicks aren’t your average, run-of-the-mill common Footlockers; these are limited edition ‘Carme Classics’ by Boxfresh.

This infamous British brand is a big player in the streetwear game, and its new concept trainers are a welcome addition to its usual line-up of printed T-shirts and knitwear.

Sticking with the popular ‘graphic panel’ trend, these are as fresh as the Prince of Bel- Air himself. Available exclusively at Boxfresh stores and dropping in at a mere £55, these are most definitely on my wish-list.
